If the Data Analysis command is not available in your version of Excel, you need to load the add-in program. These instructions apply to Excel 2010, Excel 2013 and Excel 2016. • Click the File tab, click Options, and then click the Add-Ins category. • In the Manage box, select Excel Add-ins and then click Go. • In the Add-Ins available box, select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click OK. I was recently introduced to the Analysis Toolpak in a course I took. The majority of the students and the instructor were on PC's. I'm running Excel 2011 for Mac. The instructor mentioned that it may be available as an add in download but I'm not able to find it. Tip: If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate it. If you are prompted that the Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it. Once the add in has been successfully installed you will see data analysis when you click on the data tab (usually to the far right of the toolbar). Go back to the first screenshot in the instructions to see how it will look. The button will open the Data Analysis dialog, which offers access to a variety of analysis tools. You provide the data and parameters for each analysis, and the tool uses the appropriate statistical or engineering macro functions to calculate and display the results in an output table. Some tools generate charts in addition to output tables. The data analysis functions can be used on only one worksheet at a time. ![]() When you perform data analysis on grouped worksheets, results will appear on the first worksheet and empty formatted tables will appear on the remaining worksheets. Follow these steps to load the Analysis ToolPak in Excel 2016 for Mac: • Click the Tools menu, and then click Excel Add-ins. • In the Add-Ins available box, select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click OK. It may be that Steam is reading your disk space wrong because it's not sure what's installed and what isn't. I'm not sure if any of that will help, but I hope you get it figured out. These files often take up disk space for no good reason. Mac OS X tries to automatically remove temporary files, but a dedicated application will likely find more files to clean up. Cleaning temporary files won’t necessarily speed up your Mac, but it will free up some of that precious disk space. To begin, choose About This Mac from the Apple ( ) menu, then click Storage. You'll see an overview of your free space and the space used by different categories of files, including apps, documents, and photos: Click the Manage button to see recommendations for optimizing your storage. You'll see fewer options if some of them are already turned on. The good news is Steam makes it pretty easy to delete games and their data from your Mac right inside the Steam app. How to delete Steam games. Launch Steam from your Applications folder. Click on the Library tab at the top of the Steam window. • If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate it. • If you get a prompt that the Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it. • Quit and restart Excel. Now the Data Analysis command is available on the Data tab. I can't find the Analysis ToolPak in Excel for Mac 2011 There are a few third-party add-ins that provide Analysis ToolPak functionality for Excel 2011. Option 1: Download the XLSTAT add-on statistical software for Mac and use it in Excel 2011. XLSTAT contains more than 200 basic and advanced statistical tools that include all of the Analysis ToolPak features. • Go to the • Select the XLSTAT version that matches your Mac OS and download it. • Follow the • Open the Excel file that contains your data and click on the XLSTAT icon to launch the XLSTAT toolbar. • For 30 days, you'll have access to all XLSTAT functions. After 30 days you will be able to use the free version that includes the Analysis ToolPak functions, or order one of the more complete solutions of XLSTAT. Option 2: Download StatPlus:mac LE for free from AnalystSoft, and then use StatPlus:mac LE with Excel 2011. You can use StatPlus:mac LE to perform many of the functions that were previously available in the Analysis ToolPak, such as regressions, histograms, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and t-tests. • Visit the, and then follow the instructions on the download page.
